Our community comprises of a few local businesses, sporting clubs, an Australia Post outlet, the Community Centre, and many amazing people.

The Community Centre is the central hub for activity. Operating as a not-for-profit Neighborhood House in the defunct old Bonnie Doon Primary School. It is located on Tuungurung Country. The Centre now serves as a place to connect the different people, cultures and traditions that make up Bonnie Doon. It’s a place that embraces diversity, facilitates a sense of belonging, and builds the relationships that foster the health and wellbeing of the people who love this beautiful landscape.

Surrounded by natural beauty of Lake Eildon, Bonnie Doon offers a world of adventure for outdoor enthusiasts. Mountains, rivers and trails offer everything from snowsports to water sports to bushwalking with breathtaking views.

Events hosted by local clubs, associations, organizations, businesses and the Community Centre add to the sporting, entertaining, recreational and cultural affairs in town.

The Community Centre funded by the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFS) provides many opportunities in ongoing programs designed to enrich our social environment, so the list is almost endless.
